Call for Presentation Proposals:
Presenter proposals are now being accepted for the inaugural, statewide, Teaching Financial Literacy Conference in Grades K-12 hosted by the H.K. Barker Center for Economic Education at The University of Akron.

Conference Highlights:
- Tailored and Topical Subjects: From teachers who want to introduce kindergartners to the concepts of making, growing, and saving money, to teachers of Economics and more, this year's conference has something for everyone.
- 30+ Unique Sessions: Choose from a variety of subjects over the course of two days to learn practical tips and engaging ways of incorporating personal finance and economics into your curriculum.
- Connect with Peers: Share your expertise and learn what’s working (and what isn’t) from your fellow educators. And hear our inspiring keynote and featured speakers talk about their work in financial literacy and economics.
- Invest in Your Career: As an attendee, your participation earns you issued certificates to document contact hours for state required continuing education credits. Participants are also eligible to earn discounted graduate credit (additional fee of $200 per hour, up to 2 hrs.)
